2018 (Philadelphia/Bethlehem): Epps made 13 regular-season appearances (eight starts) for Philadelphia, with 12 appearances at right midfield and one at left midfield, totaling one goal and two assists. He came on at right midfield for his season debut at Toronto (May 4) and started his first Union match of 2018 at Montreal (May 12). Epps recorded a career-best performance with one goal and two assists as part of a 4-1 win over Real Salt Lake (May 19). Philadelphia Union selected midfielder Marcus Epps in the Second Round (25th overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft on January 13, 2017 after acquiring the pick from Minnesota United FC in exchange for the 42nd overall pick, in addition to $50,000 of 2018 General Allocation Money. He was officially signed by the Union on February 6, 2017.

Epps’ favorite off-the-field hobby is playing FIFA on his Xbox One. Growing up, his favorite team was the Brazil international team and he looked up to Ronaldinho. He lists tacos as his favorite food. His favorite vacation spot is Orlando. He majored in communications in college and would like to be a real estate agent if he did not play soccer.
