Philadelphia Union esports duo Doolsta and JisForJeff are underway in their online qualifiers, looking to clinch a spot to The FIFA eClub World Cup.
Competing in the official eFootball team competition hosted by FIFA, the pair enter their second day of qualifying after going 2-2 on Wednesday. The competition requires two gamers from each club, with one competing on Xbox One and other playing on PlayStation.
The Union opened the competition with a loss to New York City FC, falling by a 6-2 aggregate scoreline. Teamwork was on display in the second match as JisForJeff picked up 4-1 victory against FIFA GLD to help his squad claim a victory with a 6-4 agg.
Both players battled AFC Ajax in a pair of highly-contested matches but fell 5-2 but wrapped up the first day of the competition with a huge result against Infinity Esports FIFA. Just like in their other victory, the Union relied on their teamwork to claim the win as Doolsta posted a 5-3 victory to bring home a 6-5 result.
