Philadelphia Union esports competitor ThiagoCapo12 began eMLS Cup Week 2025 on fire, racking up five wins over the opening day to occupy a prime spot as he looks to advance to 2025 eMLS Cup Final.
Thiago kicked off the qualifiers on Wednesday with a 2-1 victory over Chris Lopez of Columbus and then put up a resounding 7-1 result against DC United's KingCJ0. The Union competitor kept on rolling with back-to-back wins over FC Dallas' competitor AlanAvi by a 4-3 margin and then a 5-1 win over RastaArtur of New England to push to 4-0-0 to begin the tournament. Thiago bounced back in the seventh and final match of the afternoon with a thrilling 6-5 extra time win over Lamps of Orlando City SC to put himself in prime position to secure one of the four guaranteed spots for eMLS Cup 2025.
All matches are part of Major League Soccer and EA SPORTS FC PRO's eMLS Cup Week 2025, which consists of a three-day event that will lead up to the eMLS Cup Final on Friday, March 14 at the Whitney Museum of American Art. This culminating event – coinciding with Whitney’s Free Friday Nights – will merge gaming, sports, music, and art.
