Philadelphia Union will highlight fan-submitted heroes on Wednesday night, with a special FIFA20 match against the 2019 Major League Soccer All Star team. The match, part of the Union’s platform of initiatives aimed at elevating community heroes, will be streamed live on all of the Union’s social media channels including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and PhiladelphiaUnion.com.
The match, dubbed “Heroes and All Stars,” will be one of the first of its kind, bringing the likenesses of real Philadelphia-based frontline workers into FIFA20 and putting them in a Union kit. The 18-player Hero squad will take on the 2019 MLS All-Star squad featuring the likes of Wayne Rooney, Carlos Vela and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The full roster will be announced Tuesday afternoon on PhiladelphiaUnion.com and Union social media channels ahead of the match that will kick off Wednesday, April 22nd at 7 p.m. ET.
