Sergio Santos, Kai Wagner, and Andre Blake were all named as starters on the MLS Team of the Week, with Kacper Przybylko, Jose Martinez both making the bench as the Union climbed into the driver's seat in the 2020 Supporters' Shield race.
Santos' hat trick - for which Wagner provided two primary assists - led the Union to a massive 5-0 thrashing of Toronto FC in a showdown of the Eastern Conference's best teams. Blake's recorded a single save against Toronto, but won yet another battle against Matt Turner earlier in the week when the Union knocked off New England 2-1 on the road. The Revs fired eight shots on Blake's goal and only one - a breathtaking hit by Tajon Buchanan - slipped by him.
Along with Jim Curtin's Coach of the Week win, the Union occupied six spots on the league's Team of the Week.
