Box Score | New England Revolution II (4), Philadelphia Union II (3)

Philadelphia Union II faced off against New England Revolution II at Subaru Park on Sunday afternoon, falling 4-3. In the first half, both sides made the most of their attacking opportunities and New England would open the scoring just 10 minutes in, when midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic’s free kick took a deflection into the back of the net to give the side the 1-0 advantage. Minutes later, Jeremy Rafanello played a pass to forward Chris Donovan to tie up the score at 1-1. In the 24th minute, Chris Donovan played a ball across the face of the goal to set up midfielder CJ Olney who put Union II up 2-1. In the second half, forward Chris Donovan took a shot from a tight angle, sneaking into the back post to complete his brace and put Union II up 3-1. New England midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic pulled one back for Revolution II in the 75th minute to set a 3-2 scoreline. New England tied up the match when Marcos Dias found the top corner from close range, and in second half stoppage time the Revolution were able to take advantage of a man up opportunity, with Esmir Bajraktarevic finding the game winner.
