CHESTER, Pa. (September 30, 2020) – The Philadelphia Union II took on Hartford Athletic at home Wednesday night, falling 3-2 in a well-played match. Hartford Athletic opened the scoring early in the eighth minute with a penalty from Mads Jorgensen and a goal in the 15th minute by Alex Lara. An own goal by Hartford’s Idan Cohen made it 2-1 going into halftime. Caden Stafford found the net in the 60th minute to equalize, but Hartford’s Danny Barrera scored the game winning goal in the 90th minute. Union II returns to action on Saturday, October 3rd for their final regular season match against Pittsburgh Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET /ESPN+).
