Philadelphia Union II took on Toronto FC II at Subaru Park on Monday afternoon, falling 2-1. With the loss, Union II are now in ninth place in the Eastern Conference with 17 points. Goalkeeper Matt Freese recorded three saves in the opening ten minutes of play, but Toronto FC II broke through on a Stefan Karajonvanovic goal in the 17th minute. The match was then delayed due to inclement weather in the 22nd minute. Play resumed after a one hour delay and the score remained 1-0 at halftime. Defender Matt Real scored in the 70th minute on a right footed strike from the center of the box to draw the score even at 1-1. TFC II midfielder Julian Altobelli responded in the 89th minute with a right footed shot to give Toronto the 2-1 victory.
