Union homegrown goalkeeper Matt Freese has been getting some valuable experience in the USL Championship over the past month and in addition to earning a clean sheet against Loudoun United FC, he was voted the league's top save of Week 13.
Freese's top stop came in the 65th minute of Union II's home match against Loudoun, with the keeper going from post to post to keep the shut out. Freese collected 50 percent of the votes to beat out Las Vegas Lights keeper Edward Delgado for the accolade.
