For the second straight month Philadelphia Union II forward Luciano Sanchez has been named MLS NEXT Pro Rising Star of the Month. Sanchez earns the honor after helping the club to an undefeated month with two goals.
July was an exceptional month for the young forward, netting two goals, including a game-winning goal against New York Red Bulls II on July 16. Even more impressive is that Sanchez achieved this feat in under 90 minutes of play across the three league games he played in July.

Sanchez is committed to playing Division I college soccer close by at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
