Philadelphia Union Academy began its participation in the 2025 Generation adidas Cup on Saturday morning with the U-16s kicking off their Group F play against Real Salt Lake.
It was a tight affair at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida but the lone goal of the contest would come from the Utah side via a 1-0 scoreline.
Pedro Cavalcanti's side has little time to focus on the group opening loss as their be right back on the pitch tomorrow morning with a showdown against Tampa Bay United. Kick off is set for 10AM ET.
