Philadelphia Union esports competitor and Super Bowl champion Jay Ajayi's schedule has been announced for Friday's opening matches of League Series Two presented by Coca Cola & PlayStation. After competing in Philadelphia last month, Ajayi and the rest of his eMLS competition will compete in Portland Friday and Saturday.
Highlights on Ajayi's schedule include three matches against gamers that qualified for the knockout portion of eMLS League Series One, with Ajayi set to face off against exraa (Vancouver), Paulo Neto (Atlanta) and reigning champion Fiddle from FC Cincinnati.
In addition to the bragging rights on offer, the winner of the tournament will receive a $7,500 cash prize and bonus points in the overall eMLS standings. Those will come into play come eMLS Cup, when the top 11 players in the cumulative standings will qualify for the tournament, to be joined by the winner of a Last Chance Bracket. Gamers will also receive FIFA Global Series Points based on their finish in eMLS Cup, which will in turn help them in the FIFA 20 Global Series Qualifiers, the pathway to pro FIFA's most prestigious annual competition, the eWorld Cup.
