Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake was named to Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week for Week 6, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Blake had yet another standout performance between the sticks, making seven saves on the road at D.C. United on Sunday night. The match was the third-consecutive shutout for Blake and company and the club's seventh across all competitions.
Philadelphia Union return to action on Sunday evening as they host Western Conference foe Portland Timbers. Kick off from Subaru Park is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be shown nationally on FS1 and Fox Deportes.
