We're starting off our Thursday by celebrating a BIMBO Birthday for homegrown Anthony Fontana!
The Union Academy midfielder turns 22 today and has a knack for scoring important goals for the Boys in Blue. Fontana notched his first goal in his MLS debut back on March 3rd, 2018, against the New England Revolution. Last season, Fontana broke the Revs hearts again with a pair of goals to help the Union continue their push for the 2020 Supporters' Shield.
Fontana is Philadelphia Union's all-time leader in homegrown goals, with eight goals in 41 appearances.
