Sérgio Santos scored is 5th career goal and registered his 2nd career assist. Jakon Glesnes registered his first goal with the Union in just his second-ever appearance for the club. Brenden Aaronson netted the four goal of his MLS career. The Union returns to Subaru Park on Saturday, March 14 vs. the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2020 home opener (7:30 p.m. ET /PHL 17).

TEAM NOTES:

• Goalkeeper Andre Blake made eight saves on the night, just two shy of his all-time record of 10. The last time Blake stopped eight shots was 4/21/2018 in a road match against FC Dallas.
• José Martínez made his Philadelphia Union debut, getting the start at defensive midfield, playing 90 minutes, winning 11 duels, completing 85.3% of his team-high 34 passes and registering a match-best five interceptions on the night.
• Centerback Jakob Glesnes followed up his Union debut last week with another start and his first-ever goal, a long-distance free kick that gave Philadelphia a 2-1 lead in the 48th minute.
• The six total goals scored tonight was the most in a Union match since Philadelphia’s 4-3 playoff win over the New York Red Bulls (10/20/19). This marks the 4th-ever 3-3 score line in Union history with the last coming on 4/22/17 in a home match against Montreal. The most combined goals ever scored in a Union match stand at eight which has occurred four times.
• For the second match in a row, four Home Grown players played for the Union. Mark McKenzie, Brenden Aaronson and Matt Real started for the second straight match with Anthony Fontana making a substitute appearance for the second straight match. Aaronson scored his 4th-career goal tonight, giving the Union a 3-2 lead in the 69th minute. Three Union Home Grown players were also named to the USA Concacaf Olympic Qualifying roster with McKenzie, Aaronson and Matt Freese making the cut.
