We’re only a few days into 2021 but action is already about to kick off as Philadelphia Union esports competitor Cisse begins eMLS League Series One presented by Coca-Cola on Tuesday night.
The eMLS season looks quite different this season with the entirety of the 2021 competitive eMLS season being played online for health and safety of all participants.
Tuesday night will be the first of four nights of qualifiers for Cisse as he’ll play a total of 14 matches during that span in hopes of qualifying for the for the live-streamed tournament slated for January 16 and 17th.
This week Cisse will play eight matches with four a night beginning on Tuesday, January 5th at 8 p.m. ET and concluding with four more matches on Wednesday, January 6th. All matches will not only count for League Series One standings but for the eMLS Cup too with the top 11 Clubs in total points earning a spot eMLS Cup. The remaining 16 Clubs will compete in a Last Chance Qualifier tournament to battle for the final 12th seed of eMLS Cup.
