Philadelphia Union’s esports competitor CisseSZN looks to secure his place in the knockout round of eMLS League Series One presented by Cola-Cola as the competition heats up.
The 23-year-old currently sits in sixth place after eight online qualifying matches. The top 8 players after 14 games will advance to the League Series One Knockout Rounds that will be broadcast live on Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th. Cisse leads the competition with 29 goals scored and 16 points with a 5-1-2 record which has him five points out of the top spot but only three points separate the Union gamer from advancing as competition resumes Tuesday night.
Tuesday night’s competition sees Cisse taking on Alekzandur (Sporting Kansas City), FC Fiddle (FC Cincinnati), Maloney (Orlando City SC) and Mehdibob3 (Montreal Impact) with all four battling to try to get ahead of the knockout line with SKC’s gamer currently holding the No. 8 slot due to goal differential tiebreakers. Last year’s two-time League Series winner FC Fiddle is off to a slow start with 8 points through his first seven matches as well.
