Ahead of the club's trip final road trip of the regular season which will take them to Charlotte FC on Saturday evening, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.
Alejandro Bedoya
“[Alejandro] Bedoya we had hoped to get him some minutes against Pachuca but we were cautious and that didn’t happen. He began training again but he didn’t feel quite right 100% and we want to be cautious with that. He’ll be a game-time decision for this trip. Again we have to take in all the variables but we saw how much we missed him against Atlanta with his leadership on and off the field being crucial to us this season. It’s a balancing act of can he give us 10-15 minutes at the end of the game or can he play from the start or is it best to rest him and have him ready for the home game against Toronto. Lot of things to weigh but we have a deep enough squad where guys can step in but we’ll make the decision all the way up to [Friday] morning.”
