Ahead of the club's third consecutive road match that sees squad against Minnesota United FC on Wednesday night, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.
Overall status of the team
“We will get a couple players back. Obviously Jose Martinez will rejoin the group, Andre Blake trained today and looked sharp so we get a little bit stronger.
Sergio will be close. He was on the side going through workouts but hasn’t joined practice fully yet. We will see what tomorrow looks like in that regard. Cory Burke and Ilsinho will remain out. Alvas Powell will miss the game as well with the little bit of a hamstring strain.
Overall we have a good group of guys to choose from and we’ll put the strongest group on the field to try and get points [in Minnesota].”
