Ahead of the club's final May match against the Portland Timbers on Sunday evening, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.
Injuries
“Jack is still in concussion protocol and not training. Ilsinho is recovering well and I just had a good conversation with him and he's getting better and better but obviously he's still not available for selection. Greg Ranjitsingh had a little surgery to clean up his knee.”
International Duty
“Daniel Gazdag has gone back with Hungary. We came to an agreement with Hungary that it was best to have Daniel there to have it not affect his selection for one of the most important competitions in his young, brief career. We agreed to release him so he is back with them and won't be available. I have to give Daniel a ton of credit for jumping into a team, training once and helping us in a wind and crazy game and a good three points.”
