After helping lead Philadelphia Union to a Round of 16 victory over Alianza F.C. in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League, defender Damion Lowe and Andres Perea have been named to the Best XI for the second leg contests of the round.
Lowe delivered at both ends for the Union in their 4-0 win against Alianza of El Salvador to earn Player Of The Match honors. In addition to scoring the opening goal, he completed 91 percent of his passes and helped keep the Alianza attack at bay.
Perea entered the match in the second half and helped put the contest away with a pair of goals in only 25 minutes of action to notch his first goals with the club.
Philadelphia Union returns to SCCL action with a Quarterfinal matchup against Liga MX's Atlas F.C. which kicks off at Subaru Park on Tuesday, April 4th at 8PM ET.
