CHESTER, Pa. (January 24, 2022) – Four Philadelphia Union Homegrowns, Paxten Aaronson, Jack McGlynn, Quinn Sullivan, and Brandan Craig, have been called in to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team training camp in Bradenton, Florida from Jan. 24-Feb. 2. The Union hold the most representation from a single team on a roster that features 17 players from MLS and includes 14 Homegrowns.
The camp is being held in preparation for the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, which will also serve as qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.Â
Aaronson, McGlynn, and Sullivan were most recently called up to the U-20 training camp in Celaya, Mexico where they faced Brazil, Columbia, and Mexico in the Revelations Cup in November 2021. Aaronson and McGlynn earned two appearances for the U-20 National Team, featuring in the matches against Brazil and Columbia in the Revelations Cup, while Sullivan earned the start in the 1-1 draw against Columbia.Â
All four players departed on Jan. 23 and will join the Union in Clearwater, Fla. following the conclusion of camp.
