After scoring the lone goal in Philadelphia Union's 1-0 win against St. Louis CITY, Ian Glavinovich earned his first-ever MLS Team of the Matchday bench honors, the league announced Monday.
The 23-year-old Argentine made his first Union start on Saturday night, marking his second appearance for the club. His first came in the team's season-opening win against Orlando when he subbed on for the final six minutes.
Against St. Louis CITY, in the eighth minute, Kai Wagner whipped the ball into the box off a corner, finding Glavinovich for the header past keeper Ben Lundt. With the goal, Philadelphia Union became the first team to score on St. Louis in 2025, snapping the Western Conference team's unbeaten streak.
