Philadelphia Union and PHL17 Partner To Air New Weekly Show, Union Insider 

CHESTER, Pa. (February 21, 2023) – Philadelphia Union today announced "Union Insider," a new weekly show dedicated to covering the latest Union news, gameplay breakdown, and exclusive content, as well as analysis of each week’s upcoming opponent. Once again teaming up with long-time partner PHL17, the show will air locally, providing fans with additional mid-week content and an inside look at the Union.

“2022 was a historic year for the Philadelphia Union. The success of the season has manifested into the largest fan base in our history,” said Philadelphia Union President, Tim McDermott. “The creation of weekly TV programming is a natural next step in our evolution and a great way to deepen the engagement our fans have with soccer and the Union. We’re grateful to be able to continue our long-term partnership with PHL17 to broadcast this series and look forward to providing fans with top-tier analysis and an intimate look at the team both on and off the field.”

Beginning February 23, Union Insider will air every week, providing engaging conversations and analysis, updates from first team training, as well as long-form features and in-depth player profiles. The show will also provide fans with upcoming match previews and behind-the-scenes access to the team, including exclusive interviews.

The show will be hosted each week by familiar faces including nationally recognized sports broadcaster and sideline reporter, Marisa Pilla and former Union stars Sebastien Le Toux, and Sheanon Williams. Union Insider will air on PHL17 beginning on February 23 at 9:00 PM ET ahead of the season home opener against Columbus Crew on February 25 at 7:30 PM ET.
