Following a Sales career in Broadcasting, Philadelphia native and food justice advocate Cathy spent 14 years living overseas and raising her family in Europe and Asia before returning home and beginning her social impact journey. She reached out to local farmers
In just a few short years, Cathy has grown Rolling Harvest Food Rescue from an initial connection between one food pantry and one farm to a vibrant network of volunteers, farms and food producers, and hunger-relief sites. . In 2019 The Rolling Harvest Food Rescue distributed 283,000 lbs. of fresh produce to local pantries that yielded 1,274,000 healthy meals to the Hunterdon, Mercer, Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia County Area. Cathy is committed to raising awareness about the hidden face of local hunger, food waste and food-insecurity and offers leadership through public speaking engagements on actions we can all take to nourish our neighbors in need.
