For the second straight tournament it was win or go home for Philadelphia Union esports competitor ThiagoCapo12 and once again prevailed to advance to eMLS League Series Two presented by Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Final Bracket.
After picking up 16 points in the 12 matches of the qualifier contests to land in Group D, Thiago needed to finish in the top two spots to advance to Sunday's winner take all bracket finale. Saturday started out with the Union gamer racking up a big goal differential with a 6-2 victory over the Houston Dynamo and used that momentum for a 5-0 shutout against the Portland Timbers. After suffering a tight loss to St. Louis CITY SC, it came down to the final contest against LAFC where a draw would be enough to see him through. A back and forth match saw ended level at 1-1 and saw Thiago advance to the knockout bracket for the second straight event.
