After making it to the bracket last time out, Philadelphia Union esports competitor ThiagoCapo12 has his sights set even higher as he hits the sticks for on Tuesday evening as he kicks off eMLS League Series 2 presented by Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.
Tuesday marks the second event of the 2023 eMLS calendar that will February 6-7 with remote qualifiers that will be streamed fully on Twitch. The Union gamer play 12 matches in that span with hopes of receiving an automatic berth into the knockout round as one of the top 4 finishers. Just like LS1, all other competitors will then be seeded into a group stage that will take place on Saturday, January 28th. The final series bracket will feature the Top 4 from the qualifying round going up against the top two players in each group from the group stage that will square off in a two-leg battle until a champion is crowned on Sunday, February 12th.
ThiagoCapo12 kicks off the action on Tuesday with some big contests including a rematch against eMLS League Series 1 Champion Paulo Neto of Atlanta United FC as well as finalist Lamps of Minnesota United. The action starts at 6 p.m. ETÂ
