Four Philadelphia Union Homegrowns, Paxten Aaronson, Jack McGlynn, Quinn Sullivan, and Brandan Craig have been called in to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team training camp in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, Honduras ahead the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship which will also serve as qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Previously, Aaronson, McGlynn, Craig, and Sullivan were called up to the U- 20 training camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina in March, where Union players scored six of seven total goals in two friendlies. Sullivan scored four with McGlynn and Aaronson adding one a piece. This will be Craig’s second call up to the U-20 training camp.
McGlynn has earned four appearances for the U-20 National Team, featuring in the starting XI in the friendly against Argentina. Aaronson made three appearances for the U-20’s, scoring in the 83rd minute in the 2-2 draw against Argentina. Sullivan appeared three times for the U-20’s, scoring five goals in three matches.
