2024 (Philadelphia): In the 2024 MLS season, Donovan appeared in 18 games (four starts). As a forward, he scored one goal and registered one assist.

2022 (Philadelphia): In 2022, Donovan made six appearances (one start) at striker in league play...Made his MLS debut against FC Cincinnati (6/18) in the second half coming on for Julian Carranza in the 85th minute...Made his first start against Columbus Crew (7/3).

Donovan, 21, has made ten appearances (seven starts) for Philadelphia Union II, Union’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, leading the team with three goals and one assist. He made his MLS NEXT Pro debut on March 27, 2022, where he registered his first assist of the season against FC Cincinnati 2. On April 24, 2022, Donovan recorded his first two goals of the season against Chicago Fire FC II. He leads the team with 30 shots and has the fifth most in the league this season.

Donovan signed a first team contract on June 17, 2022.
