Kacper Przybylko's 70th-minute goal proved the difference Saturday night as Philadelphia Union extended it's unbeaten run in FIFA20 simulations with a 3-2 victory over FC Cincinnati.
The Union's win pushes its unbeaten streak to nine-consecutive matches with the Boys in Blue claiming all three points in six straight contests.
Unlike most of the previous simulations, it was the Union's opponent notching the first goal as Cincinnati forward Jurgen Locadia gave the visitors a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute. The Union fought back into the contest with an equalizer just before halftime as Kai Wagner found Jamiro Monteiro at the edge of the box. The midfield DP made the most of the space, firing a right-footed shot into the bottom corner to send the match to halftime tied at 1-1.
The Boys in Blue continued their form of strong second-half starts once more as Sergio Santos made it 2-1 in the 52nd minute as fellow Brazilian Ilsinho delivered a perfectly-timed pass across the Cincinnati defense. The lead was short lived however as former Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin tied the contest seven minutes later with a left-footed shot from the edge of the 18.
With the match tied up, the stage was set for the Friendly Striker to claim all three points doing so a left-footed curler off a one-time pass from midfielder Brenden Aaronson.
