CHESTER, Pa. (October 7, 2019) – Bethlehem Steel FC announced today that Chavany Willis has received an international call-up from Jamaica ahead of the nation’s Concacaf Nations League contests.

Jamaica is set for two Concacaf Nations League contests: vs. Aruba (October 12) and at Aruba (October 15). These two matches are the island nation’s third and fourth in the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League B, which consists of a double round robin among four teams in one group. The team won their first two matches against Antigua and Barbuda (6-0) and Guyana (4-0). The team atop the group after all matches are played earns promotion to League A for the 2021-22 cycle.

The call-up is Willis’ second for the full Jamaican National Team. He was previously called up to the island nation’s senior National Team in September of 2019, earning his first cap as a substitute in their Concacaf Nation's League B match against Antigua and Barbuda (September 6). Willis made his first start for the Reggae Boyz in their match against Guyana (September 9) in the same competition. He joins Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake, Jamaica’s team captain, in earning a call-up for the matches.

Bethlehem Steel FC is back in action this Wednesday for a USL Championship matchup on the road against Atlanta United 2. Kickoff from Fifth Third Bank Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+.
