Philadelphia Union Academy member Willyam Ferreira has been called up to the United States Under-16 Men's Youth National Team camp which will take place in Toluca, Mexico.
The U.S. Under-16 Men’s Youth National Team will face Mexico on Nov. 15 and Nov. 18 during a training camp from Nov. 10-19 at the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol headquarters in Toluca, Mexico. The games mark the first international matches for new U-16 MYNT head coach Alex Aldaz after he held his first training camp in September in Fayetteville, Ga.
Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2009 are age-eligible for this one-year U-16 cycle and all 20 players were born in 2009. All 20 players are age-eligible for next February’s Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers, which will send eight teams to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
