The U14s found scoring chances from all over the pitch on Saturday morning as six different players bagged goals in the 6-0 win. The side’s dynamic attacking threats were created through the outside backs according to Head Coach Kevin Coleman who applaud his sides’ effort. Head Coach Kleberson said there was some rust to shake off from the winter offseason as the match turned into 1v1 instead of the Union’s typical style. Luke Villary added the Union’s third goal of the match while there were strong performances from Colin Priestley and Gabriel Wesseh.
Philadelphia Union’s U12 squad also competed over the weekend, taking on the Academy’s U11 side on Acela League action. The older squad used their physicality and tactics to rack of the goals for a 9-1 win. Declan Lannon and Aaron Wessah each tallied hat tricks in the win while Willyam Ferreira added a brace.
