Philadelphia Union announced today that seven players have received international call-ups from their respective federations ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window. Andre Blake, Damion Lowe, Jose Martinez, Daniel Gazdag, and Tai Baribo have joined their respective countries’ teams for their FIFA international matches. Additionally, Homegrown players Jack McGlynn and Nathan Harriel have rejoined the United States U23 National Team for camp in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Blake and Lowe join the Jamaican National Team for the CONCACAF Nations Lague Quarterfinal. Blake, who captains the squad, has earned 71 caps and registered 25 clean sheets for the Reggae Boyz. Lowe has earned 58 appearances, scoring three goals and registering one assist. Jamaica will play Canada (Nov. 17, 7:00 p.m., Nov. 21, 7:30 p.m.) in the CONCACAF Nations League Quarterfinals. The winner of the two-legged series will secure a 2024 Copa America berth.
