Ahead of the club's weekend road match against Toronto FC on Saturday evening, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the injury status of the squad.
"Injury wise Ray and Warren are getting closer while Jack Elliott was a full participant in training today. He trained fully and looked really good so its good to get his body back out on the field. I think Warren did a little extra on the side and he’s at least outside while Ray is getting treatment and inside. I think [Ray] will be a little close for this weekend and it might be difficult but you’re going to need as many bodies as you possibly can have."
"We got through the [Inter Miami CF} game pretty healthy. Anthony Fontana had a cramp in the 60th minute so he’s fine. Jose [Martinez] took a knock on his shoulder but you don’t need that in soccer so he’s okay. Overall we’re fairly healthy and it’s great to see Jack back out there and training."
