Ahead of the club's weekend home match against the Montreal Impact on Sunday night, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the injury status of the squad.

"Jakob is currently in the concussion protocol just from the knock that he took in the [FC Cincinnati] game. He is a warrior and a guy that's been excellent for us but most likely will miss this weekend's match to be full disclosure. The partnership that he and Mark [McKenzie] has been special but you saw Jack [Elliott] step in as the next man up. That center back depth that I've talked about will play a big role in these upcoming games."
