Ahead of the club's Eastern Conference showdown against Toronto FC, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.
Jose Martinez
“Jose has been working very hard off to the side and getting himself as fit as possible. He had the quarantine period and he had to be separated from the team for a little while which is always challenging but he'll be available for the Toronto game which is important.”
Matt Real and Jack McGlynn
“Unfortunately Matt Real picked up a little bit of a hamstring. Like I mentioned before, Jack McGlynn is training with the team and he had an injury setback where his knee popped out and was dislocated. It popped back in so hopefully there is no need for surgery and we'll see where that one is. Overall a fairly healthy team but disappointing to lose Matthew but good to have the full group together and Cory Burke.”
Warren Creavalle
“Warren still has the ankle and he'll be rejoining training in the next day or two so it will be tight for Toronto.”
