Philadelphia Union announced today that Daniel Gazdag has received an international call-up for Hungary ahead of their March friendlies. The midfielder is part of eight call-ups in March which include , , in addition to Paxten Aaronson, Jack McGlynn, Quinn Sullivan, and Brandan Craig receiving call ups to the U-20 USMNT.
Gazdag returns to the Hungarian National Team for their pair of friendly matches this month. Gazdag, who has 11 caps, most recently joined the squad this past November. In his 11 appearances, Gazdag has scored three goals in World Cup qualifying matches against Andorra (March 31, 2021), San Marino (Nov. 12, 2021), and Poland (Nov. 15, 2021). Hungary will play against Serbia (March 24, 2:30 p.m.) and Northern Ireland (March 29, 2:45 p.m.).
