Philadelphia Union announced today that Daniel Gazdag has received an international call-up for Hungary ahead of their upcoming FIFA international matches. The midfielder is part of eight call-ups during the window which , and have joined their respective countries’ teams for their international matches. Additionally, Homegrown players Jack McGlynn and Nathan Harriel have joined the United States U23 National Team for camp in Spain and France as the USA its preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Gazdag returns to the Hungarian National Team for a pair of friendly matches. Gazdag has earned 23 caps and has scored four goals for Hungary. In 2023, Gazdag made five appearances for the Magyars. The Hungarian National Team will play international friendlies against Turkey (March 22, 3:45 p.m.) and Kosovo (March 26, 2:00 p.m.).
