Martinez joins La Vinotinto for their final camp ahead of Copa America which will take place in Bradenton, Florida. Martinez is part of the provisional 30-man roster for the event with the national team announcing on social media that the final roster for the major tournament being announced one week prior to its start. Martinez has earned 28 caps for La Vinotinto, registering four assists.
