Philadelphia Union announced today that Jose Martinez and Jesus Bueno have received an international call-up for Venezuela ahead of their upcoming FIFA international matches. The duo are part of eight call-ups during the window which , and have joined their respective countries’ teams for their international matches. Additionally, Homegrown players Jack McGlynn and Nathan Harriel have joined the United States U23 National Team for camp in Spain and France as the USA its preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Martinez and Bueno join the Venezuelan National Team for a pair of international friendlies. Martinez, who has a total of 26 caps for La Vinotinto, registered his first assist for the national team in a 1-1 draw against Ecuador on June 20, 2021. The Venezuelan National Team will play against Italy (March 21, 5:00 p.m.) and Guatemala (March 24, 6:00 p.m.) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
