After picking up a pair of wins in the opening day of online qualifying for a spot in The FIFA eClub World Cup, Philadelphia Union gamers Doolsta and JisForJeff split a pair of matches to push their record to 3-3 in the group stage.
Thursday began with a tight 3-2 loss to FaZe Clan-FIFA as JisForJeff battled his opponent to a scoreless draw on Xbox One. In the final match of the day, the Union duo finished strong as Doolsta picked up 2-1 result on PlayStation while his teammate notched a 1-1 draw to give the boys in blue a 3-2 win on aggregate.
Through two days of competition, the Union are tied for third place on points with nine through six matches of Group L play with one match remaining. AFC Ajax leads the group with 18 points through six matches while NYCFC follows in second with 13. FaZe Clan-FIFA is tied with the Union but has only played four matches.
