Philadelphia Union midfielders Quinn Sullivan and Daniel Gazdag were recognized on Monday afternoon as the duo were named to MLSSoccer.com's Team of the Matchday for Matchday 34.

The midfield duo played key roles in helping the Boys in Blue to another four-goal victory against an Eastern Conference rival as the Union knocked off D.C. United by a 4-0 margin on Sunday evening at Subaru Park. Sullivan became the first Union homegrown in club history to reach double-digit assists as he set up the Union's opening goal to Mikael Uhre in the 13th minute. The 20-year-old set notched his 10th assist in MLS play early in the second half with a pin-perfect cross to Tai Baribo to put the match well out of hand.

Daniel Gazdag earned his third Team of the Matchday appearance this season in a big way as the Hungarian notched a brace against their I-95 rival. Gazdag was quick to react for his first goal of the evening as he pounced on his mistimed pass, firing it toward the opposite corner of the net for his 16th goal this season. That total became 17 in the 69th minute as Philly continued its streak of unloading goals against its rival as the Hungarian doubled his account on the evening with a counter attacking finish set up by Baribo.

The Boys in Blue look to continue their push for the MLS Cup Playoffs with another six pointer on Saturday night as they welcome Atlanta United FC for Hispanic Heritage Night presented by Bimbo Bakeries USA.
