After completing his first regular season in eMLS competition, Philadelphia Union esports competitor Sergio Matias looks earn his spot in the biggest tournament of the eMLS calendar as he enters the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
The top seven spots in the bracket are already locked based upon regular season results and now 16 competitors are battling for the No. 8 seed in the final bracket that will see the winner walk away with a share of a $35k prize pool and a seat in the EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series Playoff.
Serg's journey kicks off in Group D where he will face off twice against FC Cincinnati, Charlotte FC and the Houston Dynamo with the top two advancing to the Last Chance Qualifier knockout bracket. From there it's win or go home with only the winner advancing to Sunday's eMLS Cup presented by Coca-Cola.
