Philadelphia Union esports competitor Sergio Matias is back at it this week as he is set to kick off the qualifying rounds for eMLS League Series 2 presented by Coca-Cola. Playing under the gamer tag of smatias17_, Serg will be on the sticks starting Tuesday night with back-to-back nights of competition in search of securing a spot in the knockout rounds this weekend.
Serg will kick off the competition on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. ET with a showdown against former Union gamer Cisse of FC Cincinnati.The Union competitor will play six matches on the opening night of the qualifiers before hitting the sticks again on Wednesday night with another six games.
All competition for eMLS will take place on EA SPORTS FIFA 22 and will be played exclusively on PlayStation®5 (PS5™), marking eMLS’s debut season played on the next-generation console. You can check out Serg's schedule below with all matches to be streamed live on Twitch.
