Delaware County is home to Philadelphia Union. While all of us in the Greater Philly Region are in this together, the folks in Delco have been incredibly supportive, working to make us feel at home from the start. And this is an event, when local businesses join together to support the ‘U’ and their local chamber too. As a result, more than 8,000 fans from the county have previously participated, with over $40,000 being awarded to support chamber initiatives. It’s the ultimate win-win and a lot of fun too.
It starts at 4:30 PM on match day, Wednesday, May 29, with an amazing tailgate, on the grassy area adjacent to Talen Energy Stadium and Toyota Plaza. Last year, more than half the 1,043 supporters who attended spent some quality time, networking and enjoying the festivities. And this year, with Philadelphia Union challenging for supremacy in the Eastern Conference and the weather heating up, we’re looking for Delco Night to be bigger and better than ever.
