Union Academy's Griffin and Johnson named to U.S. U-17 Men's Youth National Team

Philadelphia Union Academy duo Jordan Griffin and Jamir Johnson have been called up to the U.S. Under-17 Men's Youth National Team for an upcoming training camp in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The duo will be joined by Philadelphia Union Homegrown Cavan Sullivan for the camp under the direction of Head Coach Gonzalo Segares, which includes February's 2025 Concacaf U-17 Championship and cumulates with the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar. The U.S. is seeking a record 19th U-17 World Cup berth and will face the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis and Cuba at the qualifying tournament, set for Feb. 7-16 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Griffin and Johnson will report to the training camp following Philadelphia Union II's appearance in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup against North Texas SC.
