With two signed gamers signed to the Philadelphia Union, the club looks to qualify for The FIFA eClub World Cup.
The official eFootball team competition hosted by FIFA, qualifiers will take place online beginning Monday, January 7 and run through Friday, January 11, with North American qualification starting on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The tournament is the only one of its kind to require teams to have two players with each competitor playing on a different system. Philadelphia Union will be represented by Doolsta (PlayStation) and JisForJeff (Xbox) will make his Union debut.
After the online regional qualifying matches, 15 qualified teams will join defending champions Brøndby IF at the FIFA eClub World Cup 2019.
All gamers are competing for the total prize pool of $100k and 1,500 Global Series Points for each of the winning players.
