Philadelphia Union announced today that Andre Blake has received an international call-up for Jamaica ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window. The goalkeeper is part of numerous call-ups from the club which includes: Daniel Gazdag (Hungary), Tai Baribo (Israel) and Danley Jean Jacques (Haiti). The group is also joined by the homegrown trio of CJ Olney, Andrew Rick and David Vazquez who have been called in for the U.S. Under-19 Men’s Youth National Team Camp.
Blake joins the Jamaican National Team for Round Three of the CONCACAF Nations League group stage. Blake, who captains the squad, has earned 77 caps and registered 26 clean sheets for the Reggae Boyz. The Jamaican National Team will play matches against Nicaragua (Oct. 10, 10:00 p.m.) and Honduras (Oct. 14, 9:00 p.m.).
