After scoring twice in the season opener, Philadelphia Union forward Tai Baribo was recognized on Monday afternoon as part of MLSSoccer.com's Team of the Matchday for Matchday 1.
The Israeli forward bagged goals in each half of the Union's 4-2 road victory at Orlando City SC to power the side to a strong start under the direction of new Head Coach Bradley Carnell.
Baribo's first of the night came in the 24th minute to level the match, finishing off a pass from Kai Wagner at the near post. The Union striker notched his second goal of the season just past the hour mark with another strong run set up by homegrown Frankie Westfield.
